It was just another usual day,
gentle blue waves merged into each other
The breeze, too bored, decided to play,
after all, they were made of one another
He peered curiously at the vast expanse of sea
astonished by a similar brilliant hue
Related somehow they might be,
he stared at the mirror so blue
He whispered with a titillating breeze,
creating ripples in the tranquil sea
And although he put on a pretended ease,
her depths shook him, as he could see
And so it began, the amour,
she soothed the raging gusty gale
with cool waves merged at the shore
He lifted her in tall tides, when she seemed a little frail.
They quarreled behind a veil of mist
as she fumed out of exasperation
He lashed out, and in the midst;
a thunderstorm left her in wrecked devastation
On most other days, however,
He caressed her with utmost care,
determined to be by her side forever
To the sea, promised the azure air
They say the lovers still do meet
At the distant horizon, they seem to blend,
promising not to part till their hearts cease to beat
As the day, beautifully, comes to an end.
