It is a fact, that Indians are shy to express
Their feelings are too tough to guess
Is not intimacy, a scale of love
It forms its core, underneath, within, above
Then why are they shy, to even hold a hand
Even in the photographs when they all stand
There may be a difference, village and city
But kissing in public is always so nitty
Maybe our culture shows love in a different way
Maybe it is asking 'how was your day?'
Or 'if you had food or not?'
Or the jasmine gajra he bought
Or the shy smile she gave
'I love you' is sometimes too brave.
